It's been a busy week at Eventifood and we're excited to share what's new. Three features have just gone live — each one built around feedback from real food van sellers.
SMS Order Notifications
You can now text customers directly when their order is ready to collect. No more shouting across a crowded pitch or hoping people stay nearby.
Connect your own SMS provider — Twilio, MessageBird, Vonage, Clickatell, or TextMagic — or use Eventifood's built-in platform credits if you'd rather not set up a third-party account. You choose the sender name, message template, and which order statuses trigger a text.
Menu ZIP Sync
Running at multiple events or moving between platforms? You can now export your entire menu — items, categories, modifiers, and images — as a single ZIP file, and import it elsewhere in seconds.
The format is cross-compatible with EventiFestival, so if you trade at festival bookings and your own pop-ups, you can keep menus consistent without rebuilding from scratch every time.
Order History Upgrade
Your orders panel now shows a full 7-day history. Search across all your transactions and sort by most recent — handy when a customer returns the following day asking about yesterday's order, or when you're reconciling takings at the end of an event.
